Working on OMR and looking for a play school close to home? Flintoclass Preschool & Daycare - Thoraipakkam is on Chandrasekaran Avenue, a short walk from the PTC bus stop. Children from 1.5 to 8 years spend their day with us: Playgroup to UKG in the mornings, and full-day or after-school daycare until 6 pm. What makes this school different is room to move. Twice a week a sports coach takes the children out to our own outdoor turf. Classes stay small, with one adult for every six children, and every teacher and helper is a woman.

Families from Okkiyam Thoraipakkam, MCN Nagar, Mettukuppam, Karapakkam, Perungudi and Kannagi Nagar send their children to us. We are a short walk from the PTC bus stop and close to AKDR Golf Village and ASV Chandilya Towers, which makes drop-off easy for parents working along OMR.

Sport on our own turf: Flinto Fit & Flourish

Our outdoor turf is where Flinto Fit & Flourish happens. A specialist coach runs two sessions a week with real sports kit (balls, cones, hoops and hurdles), teaching children to run, jump, throw, catch, kick, balance and play as a team. There are four levels, one for each class from Playgroup to UKG, and parents receive updates on their child's sports skills.

Smart Skills classes after school

For children aged 3 and up, from any school. Pick one class or combine a few: abacus, chess, phonics, handwriting, math, Tamil, Hindi, music, dance, drawing and painting, yoga, karate and sports.

Every April and May the school runs a summer camp.

For beginners:As a parent I was a bit anxious until the time my daughter learned to settle down at Flinto in the beginning. But the staff and her teachers were very good at helping the children through this transition.Once she was settled, there was no looking back.
Curriculum:I personally love the way flinto's curriculum is designed catering to all areas of development for a child, appropriate for their age. Be it, sensory, auditory, fine motor or speech. I definitely recommend this for all children who look forward to having a good exposure to learning with a holistic approach.
Social interaction, and peer interaction between children developed a lot over the past one year.
Their staff have been able and supportive in making the children learn, sing and play in a fun way.
Overall flintoclass has been a safe and nurturing environment for children starting their school journey. They keep the parents posted about the child's day at school through an app that updates one about the snacks, bio-breaks and activities held.
My child looks forward to her day at school and has had a wonderful learning experience at flinto.
The teachers and the housekeeping staff are very warm and welcoming, making it a worthwhile experience for the kids.
The Centre director Kamala Mam is approachable and keen in listening to the feedback of the parents. She is a supportive provider to help ease this process for the parents and children to settle down at school.
